About Dr Amy Feng
MBBS, MSurg (Adv Gyn), MRMed, FRANZCOG
Dr Amy Feng is a Melbourne trained obstetrician and gynaecologist who is passionate about providing holistic, individualised treatment for couples ready to start a family. Amy completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in 2008. She discovered her passion for women’s health during her medical residency, when she was awarded the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) Medal in her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology examinations. She then completed 6 years of specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Health.
Amy then went on to complete a prestigious 2-year laparoscopic fellowship with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES), as well as completing a Master of Surgery in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery. Amy cares for patients with pelvic pain, endometriosis and fibroids, and performs complex surgeries if required. During this time, Amy recognised that there was a strong need for patients with endometriosis and fibroids to have tailored fertility treatment, and so she completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine in order to provide comprehensive and personalised care to these patients.
Teaching medical students is important to Amy. She is a Senior Affiliate Lecturer at Deakin University, a RANZCOG training supervisor for training obstetrician and gynaecologists, and is on the AGES Education Committee to oversee the future of advanced laparoscopic gynaecological training. Amy has been invited to present at various conferences and continues to keep on top of the latest research and recommendations. Amy is passionate about providing the highest level of care and support for couples at every stage of their fertility journey.
