About Dr Julie Whitehead

Dr. Julie Whitehead is a fertility specialist with over 20 years of experience helping couples achieve their goal of growing their families. Julie studied medicine at Melbourne University and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy and the Royal Women’s Hospital.
As part of her Masters in Reproductive Medicine, she conducted research into the fertility of women undergoing chemotherapy.
Julie is particularly passionate about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and is a specialist in the PCOS clinic at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is interested in helping women with PCOS achieve their fertility goals and manage their condition through lifestyle modification.
Julie has a long history in fertility and is motivated by the innovations and improvements to IVF outcomes she has seen throughout her career, as well as the chance to meet her patients’ little ones after successful treatment.
